Our Keynote Speaker on March 8, 2022, is Dr. Reshan Richards. Apple Distinguished Educator, Dr. Reshan Richards is the Director of Studies at New Canaan Country School, adjunct assistant professor at Teachers College, Columbia University, and lecturer at the Columbia University School of Professional Studies. He’s also one of the co-founders and CEO of Explain Everything. He is the co-author of Make Yourself Clear: How to use a Teaching Mindset to Listen, Understand, Explain Everything, and Be Understood (2019) and Blending Leadership: Six Simple Beliefs for Leading Online and Off (2016). Reshan has an Ed.D. in Instructional Technology and Media from Teachers College, Columbia University, an Ed.M in Learning and Teaching from Harvard University, and a B.A. in Music from Columbia University.

Our Keynote Speaker on March 9, 2022, is Patrick Higgins, who is an NJECC trustee and veteran teacher and leader in transforming New Jersey schools over the past two decades. Patrick has worked with NJECC for many years, helping to bring professional development to New Jersey Schools. The title of his keynote address is as follows: “Surely, This Will Revolutionize Education.” Please register and join us on Wednesday at 9:00 AM to participate.

Tuesday, March 8, 2022, Presentations  (Day 1)
Join us for more than 70 presentations featuring professionals teaching in K-12 schools and universities. This year we will have sessions for Library Media Specialists, Special Education Teachers, IT Professionals as well as general sessions for all. All presentations are listed below. You are free to choose from any of the sessions when you register for Tuesday, March 8, 2022. The fee for Tuesday is $110 for NJECC members and $125 for non-members. There will be a late fee of $15.00 after February 25th, 2020. Cancellations after February 25th will incur a fee of $50.00. Any cancellation on or prior to February 25th will incur a fee of $15.00.

Wednesday, March 9, 2022, Workshops (Day 2)

Join us for a day of virtual workshops and round tables. The fee for Day 2 is $95 (members) and $110 (non-members) per workshop. Cancellations after February 25th will incur a fee of $50.00. Any cancellation on or prior to February 25th will incur a fee of $15.00.

There is a discount for two days. The NJECC Member two-day price is $175.00.
The Non-member two-day price is  $210.00.

Exhibition Area: Come visit our exhibition area on the main floor of University Hall to view displays and demonstrations from vendors featuring the latest in educational technology products and services.


IGNITE SESSION: Please visit our vendors in the exhibition area in the 1st-floor hallway of University Hall. Prize “dots” will be given out by the vendors. You can fill up your prize card with the dots for a chance to win some great prizes at this last session of the day. We will also have fast-paced presentations for you to enjoy!

The recognition of disparities in our students' level of access to both information resources and information-rich experiences is a social justice issue and a call to action. Presenters will address how we might build awareness, address information inequities in our own communities, and develop strategies to close gaps.
